Professional scientists, engineers and related professionals have come together to address the need to form Principia Scientific International (PSI). PSI applies its talents to grow a business with enshrined charitable interests for the benefit of the broader community.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a non-political body – a new international science association for all scientists and engineers and those non-scientists who support our view that the traditional scientific method is preferable to politicized post-normal science.

We are proud of our ground breaking new open peer-to-peer (P2P) scientific review system we call PROM for the review of scientific papers. Our first appointed chair is Professor Timothy Ball a world-renowned climate scientist who was Professor of Climatology at the University of Winnipeg for thirty years. Our numbers are increasing rapidly (already 200+) and include a Nobel Prize nominee, a former President of a Royal Scientific Society, two former NASA experts who worked on the Apollo space program and US Bureau of Mines top engineers. Our rigor in performing scientific review has led us to reject outright the fraudulent greenhouse gas theory as having no basis in physics.

Our senior scientists have published the world`s first full volume refutation of the greenhouse gas theory “Slaying the Sky Dragon: Death of the Greenhouse Gas Theory” which was reported as the talk of the UN Cancun climate conference at the time. A copy of the book is free to all new PSI members.

PSI is a business trading with a social purpose (“social enterprises”) carrying out projects supportive of robust science founded in empiricism and involving activities for the benefit of the community and not only for private profit. PSI serves its members (shareholders) and operates as per our Articles of Association. Not all PSI members are professional scientist - but all are supportive of honest and transparent science.

PSI places members’ interests before political ideology or profit. Although we endeavor to represent all science and scientists, we are not exclusively comprised of scientists. We welcome membership requests from non-science professionals who have a particular interest or working relationship to science and support the concept of non-politicized scientific endeavor.

The formation of this ambitious and dynamic international association is in direct response to the widely perceived erosion of free debate of contentious scientific ideas both in the media and the political arena (e.g. as typified by the furor about ‘global warming’).

Not only just for scientists and engineers, but if you work in the legal profession, journalism, or the public or private sector, from Alaska to Abu Dhabi, Queensland to Quebec, if you want to belong to an association that shares your beliefs in the universal principle that science should be free of propaganda, subterfuge and corruption, PSI offers a warm welcome for you.
