Er zijn (duizenden) asymptomatische dragers van covid-19. Zijn die besmettelijk ?

374 werknemers van een vleesverwerkingsbedrijf in Buchanan County, Missour zijn gisteren positief getest (2×) op covid-19 en zonder symptomen !

China had in januari al een asymptomatische drager gevonden en men meende dat deze het virus had verspreid; aldus een Koreaanse bron.

Volgens de WHO is dat onwaarschijnlijk. Om besmettelijk te zijn moet de drager van het virus toch minstens een hardnekkig kuchje hebben. Maar hoe zijn die 374 werknemers dan besmet? Door kletsen tijdens het werk? In de kantine? Of door niet genoemde collegaas die wel de symptomen vertonen ?
